Activate Taps Partner Agency WONGDOODY for National Campaign

LOS ANGELES – July 29, 2010 – Advertising agency WONGDOODY has added Activate Drinks, a unique beverage which stores its vitamins in the cap, to its client roster following a competitive pitch for the business. The agency is charged with creating a retail, trade and consumer campaign that will include print and online advertising, as well as in-store, packaging design, social media and digital initiatives. Activate is currently sold in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Nevada, and plans to roll out nationally by the end of the year. Estimated billings will be $7 – 10 million.
Executive creative director and partner Court Crandall, who recently joined the agency, spearheaded the effort.

Founded by Anders Eisner and Burke Eiteljorg, Activate utilizes a patented dispensing cap in which vitamins are stored in dry powder form within the cap to ensure maximum freshness and potency. The vitamins are released and mixed into the water when the cap is twisted open.

We felt like they understood the core of our brand and how to translate that to our customers,” said Burke Eiteljorg, Activate founder.

The first work by the agency is expected to launch this summer on a regional basis, with national executions by the end of the year.
