Work From Asahi Advertising And WONGDOODY Included In Global Report Of 50 Top Digital Marketing Campaign

Columbus Media International and Textappeal revealed the results of a new global report into 50 of the world's top digital marketing campaigns at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.

The 'Digital Across Cultures' report highlights the importance of local knowledge to a brand's digital success and includes the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium by Asahi Advertising and No Stank You from WONGDOODY.

Selected from over 500 examples across 100 countries, the results were chosen for their strong impact on consumers' brand engagement. Some campaigns have focused on concepts that transcend national and cultural boundaries; others have capitalized on regional idiosyncracies in both the creation and execution of the campaigns.

'Digital Across Cultures' provides evidence that the web is as 'hyper-local' as it is 'super-global'. It shows that understanding local culture is more important than ever for successful campaigns.
