Worldwide Partners Expands Asian and Middle Eastern Footprints

Release Date: 02/24/2010

DENVER—Worldwide Partners, Inc., (WPI) has added five agencies to its global owner-operated agency network, including two shops in the economically expanding Asia Pacific region and two in the Middle East.

“All five agencies are young and up and coming,” said WPI president and chief executive officer Al Moffatt. “We are aggressively looking for partners in the faster growing economies and markets where increasingly the clients of our agencies will need and want to do business. Alternatively, there will be clients and brands in the emerging markets who will want to do business in the mature markets. As we increase our footprint, WPI will allow partner agencies and their clients to accommodate this developing business dynamic.”

The agencies joining WPI in the Asia Pacific region are MakkiMakki, which is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and dLuxy in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Joining WPI’s Europe-Middle East-Africa region’s ranks are Cairo, Egypt-based Resala, the Ad Kitchen, based in Dubai and Moon, which is based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The WPI network now contains 90 agencies operating in 53 countries. “Increasing WPI’s global footprint will be one of the primary initiatives in 2010 as we want to ensure we can provide our existing partner agencies access to the best independent local agencies in any global market or region that clients will want to expand into going east or west,” said Moffatt. “It’s our job to provide the resources to keep current clients happy and not feel the need to assign accounts to traditional networks when we can deliver and manage best-in-class local talent and knowledge and apply it to their brands.”
