Fact Sheet
What We Do
It's one thing to seek out meaningful results. It's another to produce them. When the corporate mission is building business, changing lives, and improving communities, no one person can do it alone. But that same person, working as part of something larger, can, in fact, make a difference. The philosophy is clear: the whole is greater than the sum of its parts; the equation, simple: 1+1=3. At Equals Three Communications, this equation is the defining principle of how we work with each other, our clients and with their stakeholders and constituents that are critical to success.
Equals Three Communications is a minority-owned, full-service, and marketing and communications agency located in Bethesda, Maryland with special expertise in social marketing, advertising and brand development, and public and media relations. We have a 20-year track record of success, working in partnership with public and private sector organizations to promote health and transportation safety.
Equals Three Communications gets results. We are recognized and sought out for our ability to change attitudes and behavior by producing materials that speak to our intended audiences in a choice they can hear. Our work is based on sound research and a thorough understanding that has consistently benefited our clients and helped them meet and exceed their mandates.
We are recognized for our ability to develop innovative, strategic campaigns. Many of these are national initiativies that provide for long-term sustainability at the local level through the empowerment of local community-base organizations.
We have supported many Federal and State agencies in conducting award-winning national campaigns that seek to prevent substance abuse, eating disorders, driver fatigue, drunk driving, red light running and aggressive driving. We have promoted seat belt use and child restraint seats in vehicles and in-flight, buying safer cars, tire safety, bus safety, truck safety, transportation choices that improve air quality, and a diverse range of health promotion and disease prevention initiatives associated with mental health, kidney disease, cancer and smoking cessation, to name a few.
We have extensive experience in reaching ethnic and minority populations, understanding cultural differences and the subtle nuances that must be considered when communicating, educating and marketing to these groups.
