Worldwide Partners is pleased to welcome a new partner to the network, DirectionGroup! DirectionGroup is a full stack marketing agency based in Reading in the Thames Valley, often referred to as the UK’s Silicon Valley.

DirectionGroup has been providing IT and technology marketing to clients for more than 35 years, long before Facebook, the concept of Big Data and most other agencies’ staff were born! This longevity has allowed them to grow and evolve alongside the rapidly changing industry. They’ve seen the landscape become more fragmented each year with regards to channels to market. And they have adapted to establish continuity by engaging, not interrupting, creating for the consumer, not the client, and by growing creative, digital, content and martech teams knowledgeable about all levels of the marketing stack into a solidified team with a single offering.

DirectionGroup has an outstanding client roster, including HIVE – British Gas, Fujitsu, Panasonic and Microsoft. Their insight-driven integrated campaign for Fujitsu, “No More Storage Adventures” helped turn audience insights into leads, and made Fujitsu stand out in the busy IT storage space. It also won the Best B2B Strategy/Campaign of the Year in December 2016!

Celebrating Creativity with Worldwide Partners Impact Awards

The WPI Impact Awards is a global competition designed to recognize creativity and effectiveness of WPI Agency Partner campaigns. The awards were decided on by a Global Panel of judges from with in industry, with six award categories reflecting the core industry verticals in which our clients compete--B2B, Travel and Tourism, Ecommerce, CPG, Lifestyle and Healthcare.

Creativity is Not Dead, But It Is Changing

Last month, our agency partners gathered for a Global Summit in Silicon Beach, Los Angeles, CA to discuss how creativity is evolving our world and creating a Currency of Ideas. Throughout the three day event, attendees and speakers touched on everything from new processes of ideation, how to draw out creative ideas and what’s at stake for brands and agencies if they’re unable to embrace this new culture. Several key themes arose during the conference.
