The City of Pori in Finland wanted to refresh their image but needed to do it in a way that their citizens would embrace. Using a unique data-driven process, Staart leveraged the community to understand what makes Pori special and gather invaluable insights about the citizens. From this data, they created four options for rebrands, and then invited the public to a pop-up ad agency, called PORIs, to voice their opinion on the best treatment. Once the public voted, the winning treatments were used throughout the city and on branded merchandise available for sale. Additionally, Staart used the new Pori logo to create a font, which was made available to all citizens so that they could create their own Pori-inspired products.
