John3 - Version 3 (1)Meet the new President/CEO of Worldwide Partners, John Harris. Based in Denver, John brings a depth of experience from both the agency and client-side of the business, a track record of driving organizational growth, and a multi-discipline skill set reflective of our industry’s evolving dynamics.

During John’s 15 years within the Omnicom (NYSE: OMC) system, he served three years as President of TBWA’s Karsh\Hagan Advertising where he generated the highest level of revenue and profit in the agency’s 30-year history, implementing a business development strategy that resulted in $5 million in new revenue and increasing the shop’s digital revenue by 500%. He was also responsible for securing the agency’s first global account, American Crew Hair Products.

As Senior Vice President of Omnicom’s The Integer Group, John led the retail, sports and entertainment marketing strategies for Coors Brewing Company, as well as developed shopper marketing campaigns for Procter & Gamble. John also launched the agency’s digital marketing practice, as well as the agency’s account planning department dedicated to understanding retail shopping behavior.

As Chief Strategy Officer for independent agency Location3 Media, John was a part of the executive team that specialized in providing search marketing, online media and content marketing leadership to multi-unit retail brands such as AT&T, US Airways and Stetson. While there, he launched the agency’s content planning capability resulting in double digit increases in revenue for the SEO, social media and content departments.

Prior to joining WPI, John served as Senior Vice President of Windowseat, an independently-owned, premium branded content agency specializing in developing and distributing content marketing solutions for brands including VANS, Nike and Quiznos among others.

John’s client-side experience includes serving as SVP of Marketing for Smashburger, a global fast casual restaurant chain, and as Chief Marketing Officer for Fresh Produce Clothing, a U.S.-based women’s fashion retailer.

He’s a listener, collaborator and leader.”

John officially took the helm of Worldwide Partners on April 18 and will be based in Denver.

You’ll have a chance to meet him in person at the 2016 World Meeting. Got “IT”

On Board Experiential (OBE), a Worldwide Partners agency, was named to the Event Marketer Top 100 on their 2016 IT List.

In the 14th version of the IT List, OBE stood out again this year. Part of the selection criteria calls for being fully experiential with work that is supported by evolved offerings, client testimonials, case studies and awards. Oh yeah, and the work has to be both high-caliber, creatively strong and consistent.

In business more than 20 years, partner OBE does about 75% B2C and 25%B2B for clients like Activision, Google, Genentech, Kellogg’s, Nike.

Raise Your Glass
