“Forward” was the theme of the Worldwide Partners EMEA Region 2016 in Edinburgh, Scotland, 19-22 October, where attendees were inspired by powerful content and treated to hospitality of legendary proportions by network partners at The Union.
Highlights from the event included:

- Future Foundation called out trends for 2017, including new technologies like Pilot, the world’s first smart earpiece that translates between users speaking different languages
- Cameron Clarke, Deputy Editor, The Drum leading a panel with veteran partners Ingrid Wächter-Lauppe, CEO of Wächter & Wächter Worldwide Partners, Munich, Germany; Ian McAteer, Managing Director at The Union, Scotland; and and Jean-Marc Segati, Vice President International for TVLowCost focused on what they’d tell their younger selves.
