Worldwide Partners Hosts Global Agency Summit in Singapore for Independent Agencies

September 23, 2019 -- Denver, CO -- Worldwide Partners, Inc, (WPI), one of the world’s largest agency networks with 65 agency partners in 40 countries on five continents, is hosting a Global Agency Summit in Singapore October 19 through 22 for agency partners in their network.

The Global Agency Summit is an opportunity for WPI’s Partners from around the globe to gather and discuss trends and topics important to the network and the advertising industry as a whole. The theme of this Summit is “Colab 2019: Collaboration is the New Disruption.” In the age of remote work, globalization, and experience, collaboration is not just a meaningless buzzword anymore, but rather a critical method of driving bottom-line results.

“Brand marketers around the globe are pushing their agencies to create simplified, integrated and highly bespoke service platforms,” says John Harris, CEO and President of Worldwide Partners. “Our willingness and ability to collaborate has never been more critical. Collaboration is the make-or-break point between innovative ideas or imitation, between second-to-none services or second-rate, between fame or failure.”

Worldwide Partners has brought together experts from around the globe to speak about topics important to the network, such as talent acquisition and retention, how to pitch and win new business, the growing economic and marketing landscape within China, and the power of independent advertising agencies.

David Luhr, Chairman of Wieden + Kennedy, is the opening keynote speaker, sharing his thoughts on the power of independence, and how collaboration and creativity has made them the most recognized, culturally influential and fiercely independent agency in the world.

Other leading industry experts speaking at the Summit include Shu Fen Goh, Principal and Co-Founder of R3 Worldwide, Nick Wood, Film Composer, Record Producer & Ceo Of Syn Music, Jean-michel Wu, Ceo, APAC Of Grace Blue, Cheryl Goh, Vice President of Marketing of Grab, Ian Chan, Head of Business Development of Tencent, Charlie Baillie, Co-Founder at Ampverse and representatives from Media Temple, Centro and GlobalWebIndex.

In addition to learning from industry experts from outside the network, WPI partners engage in several working sessions and intimate events, allowing them to collaborate face-to-face, translate real life experiences into insights, and empower each other to accelerate their businesses forward.

The Summit’s setting is an archetype of collaboration. An island city-state with 5.6 million people, Singapore is a melting pot of cultures and food, a global financial center, the Asian headquarters of many global businesses, and one of the most well connected cities in the world.

“As a network of independent agencies, collaboration is in our backbone and the one constant in this rapidly changing industry,” says Harris. “Working closely together is what keeps our clients, our agencies and our network ahead and makes us successful.”
