Worldwide Partners Adds Two New Board Members in North and Latin America

Worldwide Partners (WPI), a global network of independent agencies, has welcomed two new board members--Claude Auchu of lg2 in Montreal, Canada, and Vitor Barros of Propeg in Brazil. These two board members join eight others, all WPI agency leaders from across the globe, who work with WPI’s CEO to establish the goals and implement the operating strategies of the network. As a network that is “agency-owned and agency-driven,” it’s imperative that board members are WPI agency leaders, which allows the agencies themselves to shape and define the terms and principles of the network, rather than the network dictating terms to the agencies.

Meet North American Board Director Claude Auchu of lg2

Claude Auchu, Partner and CEO of lg2 in Montreal, Canada has been selected as the North American Board Director. Lg2 is the largest independent agency in Canada, with a focus on F&B, Automotive, Retail, Real Estate, Healthcare, and Travel and Tourism. Lg2 has been recognized by the advertising industry on a global stage for applying innovation and creativity to solve business problems for clients.

“Claude’s passion, collaborative spirit and ability to reimagine our business are the characteristics we need on our Board of Directors as we pursue our goal of becoming the most sought-after network of marketing services providers in the world,” said John Harris, CEO of Worldwide Partners.

“This global network shares many of our group's core values and is driven by a keen understanding of entrepreneurship and healthy collaboration,” Auchu added. “Contributing to the progress of our member entrepreneurs and their business vision is my top priority."

Meet Latin American Board Director Vitor Barros of Propeg

Vitor Barros, CEO of Propeg in Brazil, has been selected as the Latin American Board Director. Propeg specializes in B2B, B2C, Healthcare, Media, and Travel and Tourism, and is the largest, most awarded, and only agency in Brazil with offices in five different cities and regions across the country--Salvador, Recife, Brasília, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro.

“Since becoming CEO of Propeg three years ago, Vitor's leadership has been instrumental in the agency’s continued growth, and we know he’ll bring this same level of leadership to our Board of Directors,” said Harris.

WPI looks forward to growing with our new board members, and shares Barros’s excitement to leverage this moment for indies: “Now it’s time to, more than ever, project the network as a viable, creative and global possibility for brands to have the best possible service in each micro and macro-region of the world.”
