Worldwide Partners Inc (WPI), a global network of independent agencies, has added eight new agency partners. These new partners expand WPI to 75 independent agencies in 43 countries and add significantly to its capabilities in Asia, Europe, UK and US. “Our new partners escalate Worldwide Partners capabilities in key areas,” said John Harris, CEO of Worldwide Partners. “We now field world-class PR and purpose marketing talent around the world, along with a formidable stable of healthcare marketing agencies. These are three of marketers’ highest-priority skills as they look to create resonant multinational strategies and campaigns.”
WPI operates as a reverse holding company, where the agencies own the network and set its direction. To become a partner, an agency must apply and gain approval from the network. Over the last two years, WPI has refocused its growth strategy to add agencies with complementary capabilities, vertical expertise and geographic location; all partners share a similar collaborative ethos and growth aspiration. The result is a portfolio of the world’s premier independent agencies that offers clients locally powerful marketing on a global scale.
“Clients are looking to handpick marketing expertise by geography, industry vertical, and capability, to address precise business situations,” said Harris. “Agencies are looking to scale their geographic reach, capabilities and knowledge base through collaboration. WPI provides the global, diversified service platform that allows agencies and clients to close critical gaps.”
