Welcome New Partner Brownstein Group!

We’re excited to welcome Brownstein Group to the WPI global network of independent advertising agencies! Brownstein Group is the longest-running independent marketing communications agency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. 

  

For the last five decades, Brownstein Group has been providing advertising, public relations, strategy, digital and social media services to a growing list of global brands, including NJM Insurance, GIANT Food Stores, TruGreen, Wawa, Legoland, Lyft, and Dupont. 

Brownstein boasts particular strength in a few key categories: retail and consumer goods, food and beverage, insurance, home furnishings, and home improvement products and services. They also excel in B2B, entertainment and hospitality, and healthcare.

Bold strategies and brave ideas were behind their recent “Siptopia” campaign for Wawa convenience stores. Wawa is a well-known spot across the Mid-Atlantic for select items like the Wawa hoagie; the brand wanted to expand this product focus to include their variety of specialty beverages and become the go-to summer destination. 

“Siptopia” was the courageous solution, a magical world capable of transforming Wawa handcrafted beverages into a smile in a cup. Siptopia came to life through the name, its customized look and feel, as well as TV and radio spots, billboards, in-store signage, and associate T-shirts. 

The brilliant outcome? The Brownstein Group exceeded very aggressive campaign sales targets by 58%. What’s more, Siptopia is one of the most successful campaigns the brand has ever run, and it’s become a primary franchise promotion across its 700+-store footprint. Even more, the campaign also helped Brownstein achieve recognition as an AdAge Small Agency of the Year last year!

Browstein’s candid courage is due in large part to their hometown. Philly is a city known for its guts, passion, perseverance and grit. Brownstein carries these traits in their DNA, and weaves them into all of their client work.
